On November 10th we had the pleasure of visiting  "ActiCity"  in Veszprém, Hungary. We hosted our workshop - The COMMONCATALOGUE TOUR,  COLLABORATING WITH  KÉK - the Hungarian Contemporary Architecture Centre, AS A PART OF VEB2023 European Capital of Culture International Conference.
The workshop's participants were introduced to our 5 personas, representing 5 different "consumers" of urban commons. Each one was invited to choose a persona and take their point of view for a tour.
In preparation for the event, we used our code to analyze the surrounding commons and graded them through different preference sets.
We introduced 10 of the chosen evaluation parameters and asked the participants to choose the top three that represent their persona's needs and interests.
The next step was to go out and explore!
using an online form platform. each participant had to submit his choices of persona, and top three values, and rank three sites on the grid map in the light of the chosen values.
After everybody came back to the conference room, we invited the participants to tell us about their experience and explain their choices. This process allowed us to compare the results we received from using our code to the participants' individual experiences!
These heat map diagrams represent the ranking of selected grid cells according to each persona - as generated by the parametric code.
We want to thank all the wonderful people WHO PARTICIPATED in our workshop. This was a great learning opportunity for us. We are constantly working on finding ways to make our parametric system adjustable, flexible, and user-friendly.

Can't wait for our next COMMONCATALOGUE TOUR!
