Empowering Urban Dwellers: We believe in redefining the forms, functions, and structures of cities with a focus on social needs and inclusivity. THE COMMONCATALOGUE aims to empower communities to actively participate in shaping urban spaces. By utilizing urban and societal data, urban dwellers are invited to take agency over the decision-making processes shaping their neighborhoods.
This diagram represents the basic rating parameters that help us match individual sets of principles with existing urban commons, to pinpoint their strengths and weaknesses, as a stepping stone for identifying practical action-taking pathways, suited for varied levels of personal involvement and investment.

Our goal is to create a customizable evaluation system for common spaces. Every community has different core values, so there's never a single right or wrong answer when asking what can be done to make a change. In this project we aim to quantify the elements that affect us the most in existing urban spaces, identifying their potential and making them better - in all the shapes "better" can take.
we created five personas for our experiment -  representing different types of city "users" and "consumers". These personas help us form a flexible value scale that represents different needs and preferences.
This is an ongoing project. we keep developing new features and learning from new case studies, let us know if you want to take part and join our research!
